Tailgate Clearance Guide

In most cases, StowAway Swingaway Cargo Carriers will be able to allow truck bed access when the carrier is attached.

To determine whether you will be able to lower the tailgate of your truck when the StowAway Cargo Carrier is attached, please measure the horizontal distance from the center of your hitch pin hole backwards to the back edge of the open tailgate.  This distance is marked in red in the diagram below.
