Highland was founded in 1945 when an entrepreneurial couple,
located in northwestern Pennsylvania, had an idea to protect the family
car from harsh winters. This idea developed into the world's first
splash guard, and Highland's first company product. Following on the
great success of this initial product introduction, Highland has
expanded beyond splash guards into a full line of Cargo Management and
Vehicle Protection products.
