StowAway Swingaway Frame
The StowAway Swingaway Frame is our most popular hitch carrier
frame. Fabricated from heavy duty steel tubing the Swingaway frame will
rotate up to 180 degrees to provide clear access to the rear of your
vehicle. Rises 5" for improved ground clearance. Will accomodate any of
the StowAway Carriers or Racks.

- Swings up to 180 degrees to the passenger side. Pin will lock carrier at 90 degrees if desired.
- Black powdercoat finish to inhibit corrosion
- Redundant safeties will prevent frame from swinging out inadvertantly.
- 4 Bolt hole pattern enables easy changing of box or rack
- Fits any Class III or IV 2" trailer hitch or Class II 1.25" trailer hitch
- Up to 250 lb. carrying capacity with a 2" hitch; and up to 160 lb. with a 1.25" hitch

Items purchased through the StowAway website are typically be processed and ready for shipment within 1 to 2 business days. Orders are shipped within the lower 48 states via FedEx or UPS ground. Please call for available express options and additional charges. There is no sales tax in Oregon so we do not charge sales tax on U.S. orders regardless of your destination. We calculate shipping charges based on the dollar amount of your order, as specified in the following table:

StowAway orders are shipped to Alaska via Span Alaska and generally take 7 to 10 business days. Shipping costs to Alaska generally range from $100 to $200, depending upon the model and whether the product is shipped to the port or to the customer's home. Smaller items are generally shipped to Alaska by U.S. Mail.

We ship StowAway orders to Canada by either FedEx Ground or US Mail. We calculate shipping based on the dollar amount of your order as specified in the following table. For shipments less than $200, rates do not include duties, taxes or other fees. Shipments over $200 will be sent via FedEx ground and include duties and taxes.
