Compatible with both Standard and MAX StowAway boxes, this heavy-duty cover slips easily over the cargo box to shield it from the elements. Constructed from durable, water-repellent nylon, it helps defend against rain, sun exposure, dust, and wind-blown debris, making it a simple way to extend the life and appearance of your StowAway Cargo Carrier.

Important note: This cover is intended for storage use only. It should not be used while the cargo carrier is mounted to a vehicle while driving, as it is not designed to withstand highway speeds or moving airflow.

We offer free shipping on all orders within the Continental United States. Items purchased through the StowAway website are typically processed and ready for shipment within 1-2 business days. During the summer months (or right before a holiday) this could change to 3-4 processing days. Please call to confirm current lead times before placing your order.

For orders within the lower 48 states, we ship with either FedEx or USPS ground. Please call for available express options and applicable shipping charges. There is no sales tax in Oregon, so we do not charge sales tax on U.S. orders, regardless of your destination.

StowAway orders ship to Alaska via Span Alaska and generally take 7 to 10 business days. Shipping costs to Alaska generally range from $100 to $200, depending on the product. The previous version of this cover that I had faded rather quickly, so hopefully this new one has better treated material.
I do like how the new version has tie down holes in it though.

I must say that I am completely satisfied with my StowAway2 Max cargo carrier (5 stars). It is permanently installed behind my RV.
I was looking for a cover to protect it from the weather and the sun when the vehicle is stationary. I was a little disappointed to see that the cover color is lite gray. I would have preferred the cover to be black like à BBQ cover or at least dark gray and at this price I expected the cover to come with fasteners or velcros which is not the case to prevent the wind to lift it when there are strong winds. The fitting is good and the quality seems good also but this is not exactly what I was looking for. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been black with ties to secure it. It might Also have the Stowaway logo on it. I suggest putting more Color options and photos on your website.

Nice cover - fits well. Would have gotten 5 stars if there were grommets to use with a bungee cord. Had to buy some tarp clamps. Might not have needed them but the wind in Las Vegas is strong way too often.

It's nicely made. I have a hose tube mounted on the back & a backup camera on top, so it is a tight fit and doesn't pull down all the way, but it will still definitely keep it cleaner and less algae riddled in our wet PNW conditions. Looks way better than the brown tarp and bungee cords I was using previously. Glad I made the purchase.
